Pursuant to the announcement on the selection of a legal service provider to represent and assist the Government of Viet Nam in the Section 301 investigation on intellectual property initiated by the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), the Intellectual Property Office of Viet Nam under the Ministry of Science and Technology, hereby announces as follows:

Following the process of reviewing and evaluating the proposals submitted by participating entities, in coordination with relevant ministries and agencies, based on the published criteria, the Intellectual Property Office of Viet Nam has completed the process of selecting a legal service provider.

On that basis, the Intellectual Property Office of Viet Nam has decided to select Brownstein LLP (United States), whose partner law firm in Viet Nam is YKVN LLP, as the legal service provider to represent and assist the Government of Viet Nam in the above-mentioned matter.

The evaluation process was conducted in an objective and transparent manner, based on the published selection criteria, terms of reference, and supervision  mechanism.

The Intellectual Property Office of Viet Nam sincerely appreciates the interest and participation of all entities that submitted proposals and looks forward to continuing cooperation with them in the future.
